Marine Lance Cpl. Jeremy Bohlman, 21, died Monday, June 7, 2004, during hostile action in the Al Anbar region of Iraq.
Bohlman joined the Marines in February 2001. He was assigned to the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division. He first went to Iraq in January 2003.
He was on his second tour of duty when he died. Bohlman had found his calling in serving his country and was proud to be a Marine.

He received numerous awards during his service, including the Combat Action Ribbon, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.
