I spent three years in the Peace Corps teaching English in an elementary school in Monor, Hungary. I got my master's in education then spent one year at a language school in Chisinau, Moldova, two years at a dual-language school in Balatonalmadi, Hungary, four years in a Jewish school in Budapest, Hungary, and since 2003 in Parachute.Why are you a teacher? If you worked in another profession before teaching, why did you change? I love to see the "light bulb" go off above students' heads when they understand a concept. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you've helped someone accomplish something important.What do you like most about teaching? The daily routine with the element of surpriseWhat do you do in your free time? I read as much as possible, dance, walk, spend time with friends, travel.What's your favorite lesson to teach? I used to perform with a Hungarian dance group.If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and who would you take with you? I'd travel the whole worlds if I could.
