Randy Lowery

April 14, 1960 — May 21, 2005

Randolph Ray Lowery, 45, of Chatsworth, Ill., died Saturday, May 21, 2005, in the Colorado River, after a rafting accident in Garfield County.

Randy was born April 14, 1960, to Donald J. and Teresa Marilyn Hardesty Lowery. He graduated from Chatsworth High School. He married Lisa Mae Beal.

Surviving are his wife; children Daniel Alan Lowery, of Chatsworth, Kelli Nichole (Jason) Hall, of California, and Randi Rae Lowery, Brittni Thomsen and Colin Thomsen, all of Chatsworth.

He is also survived by his parents, Donald and Marilyn Lowery; brothers Ted Lowery, of Chatsworth, Phillip (Donna) Lowery, of Monticello, Ill., and Daniel (Venita) Lowery, of Champaign, Ill.; sisters Teresa Emmett and Jody Lowery, of Sacramento, Calif., Donita (Tom) Andrews, of Mesa, Ariz., and Carla Van Alstyne, of Carbondale.

Randy was proceeded in death by one brother, Michael Lee Lowery.

He was a tool and die maker employed at Nichols Homeshield and also ran Lowery Tree Service with his father and his brother Dan. He was a vibrant soul and enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed all outdoor activities and was an avid kayaker and fisherman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests people plant a tree in Randy’s memory or donate to the Randy Lowery Memorial fund.
