Glenwood local moves up in Iditarod standings

Bill Pinkham has started to make his move. After the conclusion of Thursday’s stage of the annual Iditarod Dog Sled race, Pinkham currently sets in 30th place overall.

Paul Gebhardt is the overall leader, followed by Doug Swingley.

Julich settles in 52nd place at Paris cycling race

After Thursday’s fourth stage of the Paris-Nice cycling tour, Glenwood Springs High School graduate Bobby Julich is currently 52nd overall. Floyd Landis of the United States is the current overall leader, holding a nine-second lead on Spain’s Patxi Xabier Vila Errandona.
