Operation Vacation is a program that brings to the Roaring Fork Valley military personnel who have fought overseas. Bob Johnson, a realtor for Vicki Lee Green Realtors, in Glenwood Springs, coordinated with the Army to create the program that is hosting six soldiers over a six-month period to Glenwood. More than 20 businesses have donated dinners, entertainment, outdoor activities, lodging and transportation for Operation Vacation participants.

When you were being deployed, what did you miss most about home? My friends and family

Where is the most fascinating place you've visited in the world? I love the United States more than any other place in the world - there's no other place I've enjoyed more than the United States.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I used to want to be an architect, but later I just wanted to be in the military.

What do you like to do in your free time? I like to ride motorcycles, and I like to play in the mountains.
