Glenwood Springs
Puppies at large - Sheriff's deputies were advised of "two puppies that were running at large." They cited Randy Dean Lake, 30, for two counts of dog at large.
Harassment - Police got a call saying a male had pushed his way into his elderly mother's home without her permission. They arrested Lowell Charles Haag, 49, for second-degree burglary and harassment.
Parking lot fight - Police investigated a call of a fight in a parking lot. They arrested Tyson Allen Smith, 23, for assault and fighting.
Bad driving - Police observed a vehicle driving carelessly and stopped it. They determined the driver was intoxicated. They arrested Hector Garcia, 19, for driving without a license, DUI, careless driving and failure to provide proof of insurance.
Beer-bottle assault - Hospital personnel called police about a male suffering from cuts to his face. Police investigated and determined his brother had attacked him with a broken bottle. They later arrested Julio Jimenez-Martinez, 25, for first-degree assault.
Dog at large - Police observed a dog running at large on Ninth Street. The owner had previously been warned for two similar incidents. Moises A. Adame-Villalobos, 26, was issued a summons for dog at large.
Apartment complex fight - Police investigated a disturbance call at the Valley View West Condos. They arrested Glen Madison Sell, 22, for third-degree assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Police arrested Sean Patrick Egan, 18, for disorderly conduct, assault, fighting and illegal possession/consumption of alcohol by an underage person.
Don't run red lights with marijuana in the car - Police observed a vehicle fail to obey a traffic signal and contacted the driver. Police said they found about 16 grams of marijuana in plastic bags and that he failed to provide proof of insurance. Brandon Dean Yadon, 32, was arrested and cited with possession of marijuana, failure to provide proof of insurance and disobeying a red light.
Gotta have that chew - Police arrested Tyler John Stempek, 27, for trying to steal chewing tobacco from City Market.
Harassment - Officers answered a disturbance call and saw a male yelling and pointing at a female while circling her on the sidewalk. They arrested Mark Eric Sturdevant, 43, for harassment.
Rifle
High school fights - A female juvenile at Rifle High School was assaulted by another female juvenile. The victim was taken to Grand River Hospital for multiple injuries to her face and head. There was a separate report of a student saying she was shoved and a third report of police "investigating a verbal altercation overheard at Rifle High School."
Domestic violence - Police answered a disturbance call and arrested Tim Bradshaw, 44, for domestic violence and harassment.
Combative driving - Police answered a driving complaint in Silt. A reporting party said that a white truck had run three cars off the road on Highway Six. Police contacted the vehicle and arrested Kirk Jongsma for DUI.
False plates - Police contacted a vehicle for displaying false license plates. They were registered to a black Honda but were on a white Explorer. During the stop it was learned there was no insurance on the vehicle. Javier Lucero, 24, was issued a summons.
DUI - Police observed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal at a stop sign shortly after midnight. They stopped the vehicle and arrested Michael Charles Hansen, 42, who appeared to be intoxicated.
Name calling - Police answered a harassment call at City Market. They learned that a woman called another woman some "inappropriate names in passing." Jessica Juarez, 26, was cited for disorderly conduct.
