Mackley-Boe wedding

Dianne Lynn Mackley and Craig N. Boe were united in marriage Jan. 16, 2008, at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian in the town of Gros. Islet, on the island of St. Lucia, in the West Indies.

Dianne is the daughter of Arnold and Darleen Mackley of Rifle. Craig is the son of Norm and Connie Boe of Casa Grande, Ariz. Dianne and Craig are both Rifle High School graduates.

Perrin promoted

Darby G. Perrin has been promoted to the rank of senior master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Perrin, a KC-135 aircraft boom operator with 20 years of military service, is assigned to the 507th Air Refueling Wing, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Okla.

He is the son of Chester and Sharon Perrin of Battlement Mesa and a 1985 graduate of Roaring Fork High School.

Congratulations

Carrie and Michael Lyon of Silt congratulate their son, Josh Lyon, 19, for earning his private pilot license this past year, and his multi-engine rating on Dec. 18, 2007.

He earned his ratings through Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Ariz., where he is currently a sophomore majoring in aeronautical science and minoring in business. He will continue to work on his instrument and commercial ratings throughout the next year.

Josh is a 2006 graduate of Rifle High School.

Blue reports for duty

Air Force Airman 1st Class Amy C. Blue has arrived for duty at Whiteman Air Force Base, Knob Noster, Mo. Blue, a vehicle operator, is assigned to the 509th Security Forces Squadron.

She is the daughter of Kirk and Susan Blue of Carbondale and is a 2006 graduate of Roaring Fork High School.
