Radio Evolution
Students in Laura Hardman’s world literature class at Glenwood Springs High School read books that take place around the world and describe a multitude of cultures. They want to share these books with you. Tune in to KDNK to hear student book reviews at 4:15 p.m. every Monday during Radio Evolution’s youth radio shows. The book reviews began to air in January and continue through April.
Radio Evolution partners with KDNK, Carbondale Community Access Radio, to give voice to youth. Radio Evolution broadcasts five hours of live, on-air programming per week in English and Spanish. Coming soon to KDNK is a project between Radio Evolution and Tomorrow’s Voices, a broadcast of student perspectives on a number of domestic and global issues.
This August, Radio Evolution begins teaching an accredited high school class: radio broadcasting. This class is available to all high school students in the Roaring Fork School District.
