SUNLIGHT — Snowboarders and skiers of all ages took to the slopes to compete in the Ski Spree at Sunlight Mountain Resort this weekend in a wide array of events. They competed in a Bumps competition, a Need for Speed race, a Rail Jam and a Big Air competition. Here are the top finishers:

Bumps competition (skiers and boarders
in the same category):
12 and under (skier/boarder): 1. Jake Gentry, 2. Thomas Berger; 13 and over (skier/boarder): 1. J.P. Soper, 2. Sam Irman.

Need for Speed
Male snowboarders 12 and under: 1. (tie) Andrew Yates and Thomas Berger, 52 mph; snowboarders 13 and over : 1. Dustin Harcourt, 61.5 mph, 2. Austin Hadley, 60.5 mph; women skiers: Kourtney Mitchell, 67 mph, 2. Jasmine Van't Hoff, 63.5 mph; women snowboarders: 1. Breanne Gabossi, 49 mph; skiers 12 and under: 1. (tie) — Cooper Cornelius and Luke Prosence, 62.5 mph; skiers 13 and over: 1. Chris Wirkler, 71.5 mph, 2. Don Strickland, 71 mph.
