Roaring Fork Valley residents can now shop for a variety of goods in the Glenwood area that they would have had to drive to Grand Junction to purchase only a few years ago.
Quaint, quirky and historic downtown shopping districts offer consumers a range of arts and crafts, gifts, sporting goods, books, secondhand items and other products.
Glenwood boasts a dealership for just about every brand of car, truck and SUV there is, including Volvo, Land Rover, Toyota, Ford, Honda, Chrysler and others.
Big box stores have found a niche in Glenwood, where they serve a trade area of more than 80,000 people in Garfield, Eagle, Pitkin and Rio Blanco counties. In Glenwood alone, you’ll find Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart, Staples, JCPenney, Lowe’s, Sports Authority and much more.
