Some lion-like weather: Motorists on Interstate 70 heading to and from the Front Range struggled with ice, slush and heavy snow on the passes during Sunday’s winter storm. Many found
themselves stranded in the middle of the road, unable to continue. Safety crews assisted by shoveling dirt and sand for traction. In many areas bumper-to-bumper traffic moved at a snail’s pace.
