Glenwood’s oldest church, First Presbyterian Church at 1016 Cooper Ave., will hold special services Good Friday and Easter.

A Good Friday service will be held March 21, starting at 7 p.m. Easter morning the men of the church will serve a special breakfast, starting at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, March 23.

Worship service starts at 10 a.m., and will be followed by an Easter egg hunt for young children.

The Carbondale Community United Methodist Church, 385 S. Second St., Carbondale, will have Easter Sunday services, Sunday, March 23, starting with a 7 a.m. Sunrise Service at River Valley Ranch Triangle Park (RVR main entrance, take the right behind the baseball field to the parking area near the playground); 10:30 a.m. regular Easter Sunday Service and children’s Sunday School at the church.

A light fare potluck brunch and an Easter Egg hunt for the children will follow regular services.

Everyone is welcome at Mountain View Church, located 1.5 miles south of Glenwood Springs, next to Buffalo Valley, for refreshments and fellowship at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, March 23, followed by the Easter Worship Service at 10 a.m. Child care is provided.
