Coffee Walk and Talk
The Valley View Hospital Cancer Center will be offering a new Coffee Walk and Talk Group at 10 a.m. Thursdays in the VVH upper lobby.
This informal group will meet every Thursday to walk outside, enjoy conversation, and return for lattes, coffee or tea in the lobby. The group is open to survivors of cancer and those presently in treatment. Family members are welcome to walk as well. Wear walking shoes and warm, comfortable clothing. Varied distances for varied abilities. No charge.

Rifle Creek Ladies’ Golf
The first Rifle Creek Ladies’ Golf Association breakfast meeting will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, with golf to follow. All ladies are invited to attend.

Garden with us
Are you interested in a community garden? Rock Bottom Ranch’s community garden is looking for additional members to participate. Garden participants will have new opportunities to come and meet others in the community and learn new gardening skills during our new Come Garden With Us workshops. These garden workshops will focus on a variety of topics including garden design, seed saving, harvesting the fruits of your labor and getting your plants growing. Interested participants may attend the introduction meeting at 5:30 p.m. March 18th.

Holistic Harmony
Singer/songwriterFrank Martin will entertain for the lunch Wednesday, March 26th in the lobby concert at Valley View Hospital. The public is welcome, and lunch is available.
Art and yoga in Moab
Join local Plein Air Painter, Mary Noone and Certified Anusara®Yoga Instructor, Nova Loverro Sprick in Moab for a weekend of art and yoga on April 11–13. All Levels Anusara Yoga will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday and again from 9 a.m. to noon and 2:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Mary Noone will instruct an outdoor painting workshop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Cost of the painting workshop includes canvas and paints.

Household hazardous waste
The city of Glenwood Springs will be holding its annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection event from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 19th, behind the Recycle Center at 10th and School streets.
City residents may bring their old paint, waste oil, cleaning supplies, and other assorted household wastes not accepted at landfills for no charge. A charge will be assessed to non-city residents.
