Your outdoor adventures
What did you do this weekend? Was the day spent getting some final turns of the season on the slopes at a Colorado ski resort? Or perhaps it was a more springtime activity like camping in Moab. Whatever your outdoor fancy is, be it hiking, fishing, camping, hunting, rafting, kayaking, tubing the rivers, mountain biking, cycling, running, speed walking, rock climbing, ice climbing, rodeoing, horseback riding, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, wilderness first-aid, survival, avalanche courses, anything with 4X4 vehicles, or anything having to do with outdoor activities in general, we want to see the proof.
It doesn’t have to be an activity in Garfield County, or Colorado for that matter. If you went on a fishing trip to Arkansas, send in the photos and we will publish it. Two requirements: No indoor pictures, outdoors is a must. And there has to be people doing something in the photo. Save your sunset shots for “Photos by you” submissions.
Send submitted photos of you enjoying the outdoors to Post Independent Outdoors writer John Gardner at
jgardner@postindependent.com. Or drop them off or mail them to the Post Independent c/o John Gardner at 2014 Grand Ave., Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81601. We will publish it in the Thursday edition of the Post Independent Outdoors section.
Information including where you were, what you were doing and who you were with (who’s in the photo) and a contact phone number to verify information is greatly appreciated. If no information is included, don’t be surprised if the photo doesn’t make the cut.
Be safe, but continue to enjoy the great outdoors.
