Brewpub wins again
Glenwood Canyon Brewing Co. recently won a pair of medals at the 2008 World Beer Cup Competition in San Diego. This year, 644 breweries from 58 countries vied for awards with 2,864 beers entered in 91 beer style categories.

Bronze medals were awarded to Glenwood Canyon for Vapor Cave IPA in the English-Style India Pale Ale category, and Sopris Strong Ale in the Strong Ale category. It was the fourth consecutive occasion that Sopris Strong Ale has won a medal at this competition.

The brewers at Glenwood Canyon are Ken Jones, Chip Holland, Chuck Campagna and Todd Malloy.

Masur is American National branch president
John Masur is the new branch president of the Glenwood Springs American National Bank. John brings more than 35 years of banking experience to the position. He joined American National Bank in 2002 as a lending officer, and has held similar positions for nearly 23 years with other local banks. As the branch president, John will oversee all banking and lending operations in Glenwood Springs.

John and his wife Cheryl Ann moved to Colorado in 1980, drawn by the state’s abundant outdoor activities and beauty. Giving back to the community is a big part of John’s life. He has served in Kiwanis and as a member of Garfield Legal, and sits on the Glenwood Springs Board of Realtors’ CARHOF committee (Colorado Association of Realtors Housing Opportunity Foundation).
