CARBONDALE, Colorado - Voters in the Carbondale & Rural Fire Protection District go to the polls Tuesday, May 6, to decide among three candidates for two open board of directors seats.
Candidates are incumbent board members Lou Eller and Rob Goodwin, both longtime fire district associates, and former paid department staff member now volunteer firefighter/paramedic Ken Motsenbocker.
The two candidates receiving the most votes in Tuesday's election will serve four-year terms.
There are two polling places for the election, at the Carbondale Fire Department headquarters, 301 Meadowood Drive, and the Redstone Fire Station, 1085 Redstone Blvd. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
