AVON, Colorado — A man wanted for first-degree murder in Denver was found working at a nail shop in Avon Friday and arrested by Avon police.
Denver Police sent out a state-wide alert Thursday for Cung Van Do, 29, of Denver, who was also wanted for second-degree sexual assault, false imprisonment, menacing, second-degree kidnapping and dangerous drugs.
Denver Police said he was known to work in nail shops — so, Avon police went looking around at nail shops in the area and found him, detective Paul Arnold said.
“He came up here to hide, and that wasn’t a good idea,” Arnold said.
Do was being held in the Eagle County Jail Friday on a $1 million bond.
A media representative from the Denver Police wouldn’t give out any more information on the murder case.
