GLENWOOD SPRINGS — Steve Beckley is hoping for more smiles this year at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park.

And he’s going about it by offering an unlimited-ride day pass for Glenwood Cavern patrons.

“We talked with a lot of families and learned that they want the option of paying once at the base for unlimited rides,” Beckley, owner of the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park said. “Our goal is to make it easier, and more affordable, for families to spend the day at the park.”

Guests can choose to pay for each attraction individually as well, with the introduction of bulk ticket pricing.

The day pass will cost $37 and includes a ride on the Iron Mountain Tramway and entrance to the park, plus unlimited access to the Canyon Flyer alpine coaster, Swing Shot, Alpine Rush zip line, Bungee Trampoline, Doc’s Rock Climbing wall, Wild West Wagon simulated Conestoga wagon ride and Demon the Mechanical Bull. An additional $5 will include a 70-minute guided Cave Tour.

Membership Pass holders get an additional discount paying only $27 for the day pass, in addition to discounts on attractions, the gift shop, restaurants, along with unlimited cave tours and tram rides for a year.

What the day pass does not include are horseback rides, Olde Tyme photos or gemstone sluice box mining.

The day pass is available for a limited time, and is recommended for ages seven and older, since several of the attractions have age and height restrictions.

“If you compare prices for similar destinations in Colorado, this is an extremely competitive price,” Beckley said. “Our mission is to make people smile; to do so we have to remain affordable.”
