Morgan family reunion

The Morgan family reunion was held July 6 at the home of Bill and Phelma Morgan in New Castle. The family celebrated Bill’s 80th birthday, Phelma’s 83rd birthday and their 58th anniversary.

Sixty-fourth anniversary

Chuck and Alice Carlos of Glenwood Springs invite friends and family to help celebrate their 64th wedding anniversary in an open house from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, at 50591 Highway 6, Space 15.

They were married Aug. 4, 1944, in Gainesville, Texas.

Moss on dean’s list

Heidi Marie Moss has been named to the 2008 Spring Semester College of Agricultural Sciences dean’s list at Colorado State University. She is majoring in landscape design with a minor in business.

She is a 2004 graduate of Rifle High School and the daughter of Daniel and Tamara Moss of New Castle.

Sweet baby girl

Mat and Oliviya Daugherty of Rifle are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Ella Catherine Daugherty, at 7:14 p.m. June 20, 2008. She weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 211⁄4 inches long at birth.

Ella has a big brother, Landon, who is 18 months old.

Proud grandparents are Sarah and Seven Mazzone of Cody, Wyo., Joyce VanDyken of Paonia, Walter and Sondra Daugherty of Carbondale, and Larry Linville of Grand Junction.

New Luetke

Richie, Amy, Addison and Cooper Luetke are delighted to announce the birth of Brady Sheriff Luetke, May 20, 2008, at Valley View Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces, at birth.

Proud grandparents are Dave and Jeanne Sheriff of Glenwood Springs and Rich and Jeanne Luetke of New Castle.
