On Saturday, the Mountain Lions eked out a 16-7 win at Pueblo County to advance to the state semifinals against the Demons. That game is at Glenwood next Saturday.
Mountain Views Maxwell Svobodny kicked three field goals, Brady Bullock recovered a blocked punt in the end zone and Joey Hlushak rushed for 87 yards on 10 carries against the Hornets as the Mountain Lions improved to 11-1.

Fort Morgan ousts Summit
FARMERS KORNER, Colorado Summit High School saw one of its best football seasons come to an end with a 21-3 loss to visiting Fort Morgan in the quarterfinal round of the 3A state playoffs on Saturday.Fort Morgan junior quarterback Garret Pape sealed the win for the Mustangs, the second seed in the 16-team playoff bracket, with some timely completions. He threw for a TD and ran for another in the 18-point win.
Next up for Fort Morgan (12-0) is a home date with DEvelyn in the state semifinals next week. Summit finished the season at 10-2.
DEvelyn rolls Windsor
LAKEWOOD, Colorado DEvelyn sent Windsor packing from the 3A state playoffs on Saturday, dealing the Wizards a 31-14 defeat at Trailblazer Stadium in Lakewood.DEvelyn, the 11th seed in 3A, improved to 11-1 with the win, while Windsor ended its year at 7-5.
