Holiday Craft Fairs



Emmanuel Lutheran holiday bazaar

The Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 652 E. Fifth St. in Rifle, will host its annual holiday bazaar from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22. Shop for unique holiday treasures, handmade crafts and homemade baked goods.

The popular “Soup-in-a-loaf” lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and coffee and homemade doughnuts will served at 8 a.m.

The bazaar is hosted by the Women of Emmanuel and is a fundraiser for the support of missions, community outreach, seminary students, and the church’s preschool and kindergarten.

Battlement Mesa craft fair

The 26th annual Parachute/Battlement Mesa Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 22, at the Grand Valley High School facility in Parachute. One hundred thirty vendors will bring handcrafted items including fine art, pottery, woodworking items, iron work, lamb soap and bath products, crocheted and knitted items plus much more.

Small wonders

Small Wonders, a holiday show of affordable art, will open at the Aspen Chapel Gallery, Wednesday, Nov. 19, with a reception for the artists from 5-7 p.m. The exhibition is the 126th consecutive show since the gallery opened in June 1985.

Twenty-eight local artists are participating in this show, which will run through Jan. 4.

The Aspen Chapel Gallery, located in the Aspen Chapel, is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Valley View gift shop fundraiser

Valley View Hospital Heart to Heart Gift Shop’s annual Stocking Stuffer Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, in the upper lobby of Valley View Hospital. Free valet parking.

Don’t forget to purchase a gift shop raffle ticket for the first prize of a hand-pieced Victorian Folk Art quilt by Sandra McCabe, and other prizes. All proceeds from Gift Shop Sales benefit the goals of the Valley View Hospital Auxiliary.

Holiday Extravaganza

A Holiday Extravaganza is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Patti’s Main Street Coffee House, 219 Main St. in New Castle. It will be hosted by Noreen from Making New Waves, and will feature unique jewelry, candles, etched glass, lotions, homemade sweets and much more.

Benefit cup auction

Carbondale Clay Center’s 11th annual Benefit Cup Auction will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5. The silent auction bidding opens at 6 p.m. Bid on unique mugs, cups, tumblers and teabowls for cupboards and collections. The work of more than 100 artist donors will be featured. Refreshments and light fare will be served at this free event.

Holiday Vendor Faire

The Holiday Vendor Faire will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the La Quinta in Rifle. Vendors are Arbonne, BeautyControl, Candy Bouquet, Close to my Heart, Coe’s Art, Fated Follies Holiday Gifts, Lia Sophia High Fashion Jewelry, Premier Designs High Fashion Jewelry and Scentsy Wickless Candles.

The event will offer treats giveaways.

Winterfest

The Winterfest Arts and Crafts Show at the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts will be held through Dec. 17.

More than 20 local and regional artisans will be exhibited, offering one-of-a-kind gifts.

The Center for the Arts is located at 601 E. Sixth St. in Glenwood Springs.
