Q&A with … Demon football player Josh Galvan

Year in school: Junior.

Positions: Wide receiver/defensive back.

Do you play any other sports? Basketball and track.

What’s your favorite sport to play? Out of all three sports, football.

What do you like most about football? The hits, mostly. The adrenaline rush.

How long have you been playing football? Since the second grade.

Who’s your favorite football player? That would have to be Brian Dawkins, a free safety from the Eagles. I just like how he hits. He has no fear on the football field, pretty much.

Do you like playing offense or defense better? Offense.

What’s your favorite college and pro football teams? Georgia Bulldogs for college and San Diego Chargers for pro.

Why do you like those teams? Georgia just kind of resembles us. They’re rough and fast.

And they have the same G (logo)? Yeah, the same G. Pretty much.

What’s your favorite subject in school? That would probably have to be physics.

What do you like about physics? Just how you get to participate in the motions and stuff. You get to figure how fast you were running when you hit a brick wall or something like that.

Does that come into play with football at all? Yeah, we actually did a couple projects on football.

What do you want to do for a career? Probably be an architect or an engineer.

What’s your favorite non-sports thing to do? That’s tough. Probably video games.

What’s your favorite video game? Resistance 2.

What’s your favorite sports video game? NCAA ‘09 College Football.

What’s been your favorite high school football moment? Probably just playing with such great teammates. Everybody’s different but everybody meshes. We click together. It’s fun.
