GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado — Colorado fly fisherman Tucker Ladd will bring tales of his Brazilian travels to Glenwood Springs Jan. 14 for the annual meeting of the Ferdinand Hayden Chapter of Trout Unlimited.

Ladd is the owner of Trout’s Fly Fishing in Denver. His slide show presentation, “Brazil on the Fly,” details his recent trip to the River Xeriuini in Northern Brazil.

Tucker traveled to this far corner of the Amazon rainforest in February 2008 to fish for Peacock Bass and other exotic species native to the Amazon River basin.

“This is a great presentation for anybody planning a trip to this region, or those looking to learn about the multitude of fly fishing opportunities that exist across the globe,” said Alexander Schaefer, president of the Ferdinand Hayden Chapter of Trout Unlimited.

The meeting takes place Wednesday, Jan. 14 at the Glenwood Springs Community Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the program begins at 7 p.m.
