Eve Ensler’s award-winning play, “The Vagina Monologues,” makes its Glenwood Springs debut at 7 p.m. Feb. 12-14 at Colorado Mountain College’s Spring Valley Campus New Space Theatre.

“I think you’re going to leave here and you’re going to be moved, you’re going to be surprised, and you’re going to leave here laughing,” cast member Nancy Festa said. “You’ll have a range of emotions and leave here thinking.”

Proceeds from the production benefit the Advocate Safehouse Project, Childhelp River Bridge Center, V-Day Spotlight Campaign, and women and girls in the Democratic Republic of Congo. V-Day is a global movement to end violence against women and girls. In 2008, more than 3,400 V-Day events took place worldwide.

The play contains mature themes and language. Tickets are $14 for general admission, $10 for students and seniors. For reservations, call 947-8252.
