Fischer on board

Local community development specialist and consultant Jodi Fischer has accepted the invitation of the rural, nonprofit, Institute for Civic Achievement (ICA), to its board of directors.

Jodi obtained her MA in International Development from the Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver.

She focuses her professional strengths on contributing to community self-determination and enrichment.

ICA possesses the research tools and strategies to develop businesses and community projects throughout rural, western Colorado.

New owner for Lilly’s

LIlly’s, the Finer Consigner, 715 Grand Ave. in Glenwood Springs, is under new ownership. Kelly Bender, longtime employee and manager of Lilly’s, is now the owner of the upscale retail consignment store. Kelly has assumed all outstanding consignment accounts, consigner contracts, and existing consignment inventory.

Kelly is always looking for additional consignment items and new consigners.

Hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
