EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado — A Hudson, Colo. man was arrested Wednesday for his alleged interaction online with a 14-year-old girl, a press release from the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office said.
The statement said that Calvin Steven Lyons, 53, contacted the girl in August in an online chat room and he initiated a sexually graphic chat several times, which led to Lyons performing obscene acts on his web cam in front of the girl.
He also sent sex-related items to the Eagle County girl by a package delivery service, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into Lyons’ activity seven months ago and arrested him, with the help of Weld County deputies, on Wednesday in his Hudson home.
He was taken back to Eagle County Detention Facility where he was charged with Internet sexual exploitation of a child and promotion of obscenity to a minor, both felonies. He is being held on a no bond hold.
