Fryingpan is in great shape after cleanup
Roaring Fork Conservancy would like to thank the 115 volunteers who participated in the 11th annual Fryingpan River Clean-up this past Saturday. Thanks to their efforts, the Fryingpan River is in great shape for the upcoming season.
In addition to all of our volunteers, we would like to thank Ann and Lynn Nichols for underwriting, the town of Basalt and Eagle County for trash bag pickup, Waste Solutions for donating a Dumpster, Back Door catering for providing the food, and the Roaring Fork Club for providing tables and chairs.
Congratulations to the following prize winners: Best of Trash, Brad Yule; Most Unusual, Carol Warner; Most Useful, Ellen Knous; Most Toxic, Basalt High School students.
We appreciate all of the community spirit and support of this great event!
