EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado — Eagle County's vehicle fleet service department was recently named to a list of “North America's Top 100 Best Fleets” for 2009 by Government Fleet Magazine.
The awards program identifies and encourages high levels of improvement by public fleet operations and is sponsored by Government Fleet Magazine, CCG Systems, Chrysler Fleet Operations, Invers Mobility Solutions and Eckhaus Electric Vehicles.
Eagle County was one of 5,000 public sector fleet operations to apply for the honor. The 100 Best Fleets were selected using criteria including: accountability, use of technology and information and creativity.
“Receiving this award shows that Eagle County Fleet Services is devoted to staying on top of a changing and challenging industry,” Eagle County Fleet Services Manager Gusty Kanakis said. “We strive to offer the best service possible.”
