Colorado Powerball ticket wins $10,000

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - The Powerball jackpot was expected to increase to an estimated $193 million for Saturday since no one matched all six of the numbers in the midweek drawing, the Multi-State Lottery Association said.

The winning numbers Wednesday were 41, 42, 52, 54 and 57. The Powerball was 30 and the multiplier was 3.

Tickets matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the jackpot worth $171.5 million.

A Power Play ticket sold in Oregon matched the first five numbers only to win $1 million. The top prize in Colorado was $10,000 for a ticket that matched the Powerball, plus four of the other numbers, Colorado Lottery officials said.

Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.

The game is now played in 30 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
