William M. Swentzell

William M. Swentzell, 49, passed away suddenly in Denver, CO on Oct. 22, 2009.

Will was born in Leadville, Colorado and graduated from Lake County High School. He went on to spend 25 years at the University of Colorado at Boulder, first as a Climax Scholar and finally as Director of Orientation Programs. Until recently he applied his incredible organizational and people skills at Colorado Mountain College in Aspen.

Those who were fortunate to know Will were touched by a caring spirit that can never be replaced.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Ilene and Bill Swentzell, his aunt and uncle Jean and Bob Youngquist, cousin David Youngquist, his former partner Eric Hilst, his chosen family Mark O'Neill and Lorrie Hamm, and many close friends.

Donations in memory of Will may be made to your favorite organization or charity.

William, rest in peace … We all loved you very much …
