Patriotic Arts Concert
Rifle High School will host a Rifle All School Patriotic Arts Concert on Monday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. The concert will be in honor of all the men and women who have served our country.The concert will feature students from Graham Mesa, Highland, Wamsley, Rifle Middle School art, band and choir, and Rifle High School, art, band and choir.
Drinks and desserts will be available.
Glenwood Middle School Veterans Day event
The students of Glenwood Springs Middle School invite all veterans and community members to a Veterans Celebration at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10. Coal Ridge High School Veterans Day event

Reading group
Seek!, a wacky ecumenical reading group, will meet for its final Monday from 6-7:15 p.m. Nov. 9 in the Mezzanine of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Glenwood Springs, across from Sayre Park. This informal roundtable meets once a season to hash out ancient as well as cutting edge spiritual ideas. Humanities professor Christie Smith leads the discussion for most of the sessions.

Antlers Lane School House Craft and Antique Sale
The second annual Antlers Lane School House Craft and Antique Sale will take place Friday, Nov. 13, from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located west of Silt off Highway 6 on Antlers Lane, this sale features vendors such as Traveling Flea Market, Trash to Treasure, Gypsy Chix and The Hen House. Artists such as Kelley Cox and Joyce Webb pottery will also be there. Shoppers will find jewelry, hand sewn items, barnwood furniture, wood carvings and so much more.A special treat this year for the hungry shoppers will be beef, bean and green chile burritos, served using the original La Hacienda recipe which is an old locals' favorite from years ago.
Grand Valley production
The GVHS TheatreCo. invites everyone to attend their production of Thornton Wilder's “The Matchmaker” on Nov. 12, 13 and 14. In this comedy, Horace Vandergelder has decided he can now financially support a wife. He hires Mrs. Dolly Levi, a professional matchmaker, to help him in this endeavor. In the process of finding Horace's perfect match, Dolly turns his business and personal lives upside-down. Performances begin at 6:30 p.m. in Cardinal Hall at Grand Valley High School in Parachute. Unique Boutique
The Unique Boutique Christmas arts and crafts show will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Masonic Temple, Ninth and Colorado across from the Glenwood Post Office. Valley View Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual quilt raffle, and there will be a wonderful holiday bake sale fundraiser sponsored by Graham Mesa Elementary School.
