John Paul "JP" Mangone, 37, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado.
JP was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Dec. 3, 1971 and graduated from Rifle High School 1990 and attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado where he received his BA degree in construction management in 1995.
JP married Nicole Marie Alexander on June 12, 1999 and is the father of Travis, Amanda, Dusty and Abby. JP loved hunting, fishing and most of all his family.
JP was very active in numerous construction projects along the Front Range and took a lot of pride in building for the future. He was extremely proud of working with Empire Management, Inc.
JP is survived by his wife and children of Loveland; His parents Milt and Patti Blakey of New Castle and Robert and Paulette Mangone of Colorado Springs; Grandmother Evelyn Mangone of Colorado Springs; Brothers, Robert Mangone and wife Taura of Albuquerque and Jeff Mangone of Colorado Springs; Sister, Michelle (Jim) Phillips of Penrose, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces, and a great aunt and uncle Blakey of Pueblo.
Cremation has been completed. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loveland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the "JP" Mangone Children's Trust Fund in care of any Wells Fargo Bank.
