W. Sharon (Squires) McClellan was born Sept. 7, 1937 to Arlia and Okey Squires at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Light, near Snowmass. Sharon attended Rifle schools and married Ronald D. McClellan, of Appleton City, Mo. on May 14, 1956 in Rifle.
They lived in Meeker, Rifle and New Castle, before making Craig their permanent home.
Sharon is survived by husband, Ronald D. McClellan, of Craig; children, Donald McClellan, of Tacoma Wash., Ronda McClellan of Craig, and Robert D. (Coreene) McClellan of Craig; grandchildren, Robert D., Daniel, Kyra and Krysta McClellan of Craig; sister, Doris (Lonnie) Barber and children of Flora Vista, N.M.; brothers, James (Jean) Squires of Grand Junction, Tom Squires of Grand Junction and Gary Squires of Naturita; numerous nieces and nephews, and her very dear sisters-in-law Audrey (Bud) Squires, Betty Lou (Carl) Squires and Judy (Okey Jr.) Squires.
A funeral was held Sept. 29, 2009 to wish her a wonderful journey at the Latter-day Saints Church in Craig.
