Denver woman gets prison time for cocaine conviction

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A Colorado woman who was caught with more than 6 and a half pounds of cocaine has been given three-to-five years in a Nebraska prison.

Court records say Susan Lopez of Denver pleaded no contest to possession with intent to deliver.

She was sentenced Tuesday in Lancaster County District Court.

Authorities say Lopez was pulled over for speeding near the Lincoln Airport exit off Interstate 80 on March 31.

A search by a Nebraska state trooper turned up the cocaine in hidden compartments behind a rear door and a rear quarter panel of her car.
