Bruce A. Yager passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell, Mont. of pulmonary fibrosis. He was 54.
Bruce was born Oct. 24, 1955, in Buffalo, Minn., to Arwood and Helen (Drenckhahn) Yager. He was raised in Delano, Minn. Bruce was an electrician and had been employed with Excel Electric Contractors.
Bruce will be remembered for his kind, gentle and adventurous spirit. He was a friend to many who truly knew him. He was also known for his Jekyll and Hyde nature that brought out the worst in some, while others just laughed and said “that's Bruce.”
He enjoyed jeeping, restoration of old Jeeps and muscle cars.
Bruce was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Weiman (Yager).
He is survived by his parents, Arwood and Helen Yager; brother, Greg (Nancy) Yager of Kalispell, Mont.; brother-in-law, Dale Weiman of Delano, Minn.; other relatives, Mitchell Yager of Minneapolis, Andrea Yager of Kalispell; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Bruce's life was held at 7 p.m. on Dec. 15, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.
