GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado — The Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts celebrates 2010 with the “Thrillz” Artists from the current All Member and Student Exhibit at the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts!
The following local artists will be featured: Noemi and Kristoff Kosmowski, Kathy Honea, Jerry Bauer, Susan Obermeyer Strauss, Ricky Lively, Terry Muldoon, Loni Tervol, Steve Taylor, Carlos Cadavid, Lydia Claussen, Gail Denton, Laurel Astor, Suzi Rhae Ross, Judy Davis, Lynne Denio, Julia Williams, Jessica Kidd, Michael Carter, Susie Allen, and Gena Hawkins.
There will be an artist reception at the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts on Saturday, at 6 p.m.
The “Thrillz” Artist Reception will take place after the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts annual meeting. Appetizers, libations, and refreshments will be served. Entertainment will be provided by the Jr and Sr Dance Companies from the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts, and “Neo- Paleo” An Acoustic duet between Melody Hartman and Ashton Taufer will preform as guests mingle. Melody Hartman will be on Vocals and Guitar, and Ashton Taufer on Stand-up Bass.
At the annual meeting, our teachers, staff and volunteers will be recognized.
Teacher's being recognized are: Maurine Taufer, Christina Brusig, Neal Stiles, Sheryl Gordon, Susan Mount, Alexandria Loter, Jennetta Meitler Howell, Sandra Ursino-Gould, Brad Vierheller, Ashton Taufer, Melody Hartman, Terry Muldoon, Annie Bell, Judy Davis, Holly Curcio, Jessica Kidd, Dana Irwin.
The staff being recognized are: Gayle Mortell, Executive Director, Christina Brusig, Assistant Director, Annine Bell, Development Assistant, Jessica Kidd, Bookkeeping, Cameron Daniels, Maintenance.
We will also nominate our “Volunteer of the Year”. The contestants are Rita Wagner, Chris McCloskey, Brad Bailey, and Loni Tervol.
The Center's new Board of Directors will also be nominated at this meeting/celebration.
