Glenwood was in second position with $52.8 million and 125 transactions, while Rifle came in third with $35 million and 117 transactions. New Castle and Silt followed Rifle with $31 million and 92 transactions, and $22 million and 67 transactions, respectively. Rounding out the county were Battlement Mesa with $9.9 million and 45 transactions, and Parachute with $9.5 million and 24 transactions. The remaining dollars were attributed to quit claim deeds with document fees and two sales in rural Garfield County totaling $445,300 and 17 transactions.
