Editor's note: The Glenwood Springs Police Department reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.
Assault and disorderly conduct: Rodger Blackard, 38, of New Castle was arrested on suspicion of second degree assault and Sean R. Guerrero, 24, of Glenwood Springs was summoned on suspicion of disorderly conduct on March 30 after an investigation into a fight that occurred on March 16. Guerrero reported the incident to police on March 28. The two men came to blows during a party at an apartment in West Glenwood, where Guerrero reportedly became involved in a verbal or physical confrontation and Blackard intervened, allegedly punching Guerreo in the face and breaking his jaw.
Driving under revocation: Saul Feliciano Perez-Gomez, 24, of Glenwood Springs was arrested at 7 p.m. on March 28 after he was stopped while driving in the 2300 block of South Glen Avenue for failing to have the vehicle's headlights on. Officers discovered his license was revoked and he had no proof of insurance, and he was lodged in jail on the three charges.
Speeding and driving under revocation: Abraham Arellano, 23, and Armando Robollar, 19, both of Federal Heights, were arrested at 12:20 a.m. March 29 after their vehicle was stopped on I-70 for speeding 20 mph over the speed limit. Officers discovered that Arellano, the driver, was driving while his license was revoked, and arrested him on suspicion of speeding and driving under revocation. The passenger, Robollar, was summoned for permitting an unlicensed person to drive the vehicle.
Warrant arrest: Stephanie Guillen, 20, of Glenwood Springs was stopped by police at 4:30 p.m. March 29 in the 500 block of 8th Street for failing to stop at a stop sign. She was ticketed for failing to stop, not providing proof of insurance and violating restrictions on her learner's permit. She was also found to have an outstanding warrant from Garfield County for failure to comply and was arrested on that charge.
Possession of marijuana: Kyle L. Dupont, 24, of Silt was stopped at 11:30 p.m. on March 29 in the 2100 block of Grand Avenue for failing to have the vehicle's headlights on. He was arrested and later released on a summons for suspicion of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, driving under the influence, failure to provide proof of insurance.
Trespass: Ryan Lynn Olsen, 35, Glenwood Springs was summoned for trespass at 3:45 p.m. March 30 at the Wal Mart store after officers were called to the store.
Harassment: Miguel Angel Rodriguez Cordero, 37, of Glenwood Springs was arrested at 2:40 a.m. on March 31 after officers were called to a domestic violence call at a home in the 900 block of Bennett Avenue. He was lodged in the county jail on suspicion of harassment and criminal mischief.
