GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado — The Glenwood Springs Farmer's Market will hold its last market of the 2011 season on Saturday.
“We're having a customer appreciation day with specials at all the different booths,” said Sam Silvius, spokeswoman for the market.
“Everyone will be offering treats, such as tastings of soup, chili and sweet breads,” Silvius said.
This is the last chance for shoppers to buy produce, meats and seafood directly from the vendors who participate in the weekly market.
The Glenwood Springs Farmers Market is open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday in front of Rite-Aid on Grand Avenue.
