Colorado Mountain College's Nursing Program hosts informational meetings at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 1the Calaway Academic Center at CMC Spring Valley and at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at CMC Glenwood Center, 1402 Blake Ave. Learn about program requirements, application process and scholarship opportunities. CMC refresher classes for health care providers

Colorado Mountain College is offering recertification classes for health care professionals. All classes meet at CMC-Spring Valley.

The CPR for Professionals Renewal, 6-9:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Current health care provider CPR certification required.

Outdoor Emergency Care, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 and 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5.

The Wilderness First Responder Refresher class meets the standards for recertification. Certificates are sponsored by Desert Mountain Medicine and the American Heart Association. The class meets 6-8:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 followed by field days on Nov. 19 and 20.

Backyard chicken info meeting
