Colorado Animal Rescue (CARE) is in the middle of its annual Christmas Cats and Kittens adoption drive. All adoption fees have been lowered for the month of December from $100 to $150 down to $45 for a cat or dog. CARE is located in the Spring Valley area south of Glenwood Springs near Colorado Mountain College and can be reached at 947-9173. CARE will also have several pets up for adoption from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. this Saturday at PetCo in Glenwood Meadows.
