Editor's note: The Rifle Police Department reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.
Violation of restraining order: Police were called to the probation office at the courthouse at 8:44 a.m. on March 1. Randall Barret Wilhelm, 44, of Rifle was arrested for violation of a restraining order.
Domestic violence: Police are investigating a domestic violence incident in the 300 block of East Second Street reported on March 3. A warrant has been issued for the suspect.
Harassment: Police were called to a disturbance in the 1000 block of West 24th Street at 3:54 p.m. on March 3. Officers cited April Leona Bates, 33, of Rifle for public indecency and harassment after she allegedly exposed parts of her body to a neighbor.
Driving under the influence: Officers were called to an auto accident in the 600 block of Wapiti Court at 9:39 p.m. on March 3. Jason Marvin Joslen, 36, of Grand Junction was cited for careless driving and driving under the influence.
Noise violation: Police were called to the 100 block of East 26th Street at 11:16 p.m. on March 3 for numerous complaints about loud noise. The owner of the establishment had already been issued a warning. Arturo Sauceda, 43, of Rifle was cited for noise disturbance.
Theft: Officers took a report of the theft of prescription medicine from a location in the 200 block of West 20th Street. Following an investigation, Mindy Marie Glaser, 27, of Rifle was arrested on suspicion of theft and failure to appear in an earlier case.
Harassment: Officers were called to a residence in the 400 block of Columbine Drive at 10:38 p.m. on March 5 for a 911 hang-up call. Officers learned that a person had been injured in a domestic violence incident. Jamie Lee Winters, 35, of Rifle, was arrested on suspicion of harassment and domestic violence and lodged at the county jail.
