RIFLE, Colorado - The 13th annual Grand River Gallop will be held on Saturday, April 7, to benefit Grand River Meals on Wheels of Western Garfield County. The 5K run and 2K walk is part of the Colorado River Valley Charity Race Series.
The race start point is the south side of Grand River Hospital and Medical Center, 501 Airport Road in Rifle.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the race begins promptly at 9 a.m.
Entry fees are $20 in advance and $25 on race day for individuals, and $35 in advance and $40 on race day for families.

Cash and checks are accepted and checks can be made out to GRHD.
Grand River Meals on Wheels delivers more than 900 meals a month to elderly, disabled, and recovering individuals in New Castle, Silt, Rifle, Parachute, and Battlement Mesa.
The race will also benefit scholarships for children to attend the Diabetes Health Camp to be held this summer in Rifle. The camp is designed for children who have been diagnosed with Type I diabetes.
