Betty M. Arnold

Betty M. Arnold, formerly of Rifle, passed away at Larchwood Inns in Grand Junction on May 16 at the age of 90.

Betty was born on Aug. 9, 1921, in Grand Valley, Colorado, to Thomas Earl and Thelma Anderson Bailey. She married William Arnold of Rifle in 1941 and they lived all their lives in the local area. She enjoyed family, rock hunting, crafts and the beauty of Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two brothers, Burdette and Wilbur, and one sister, Bertha. She is survived by her four children, Sherry Walker of Pennsylvania, Don Arnold of Alaska, Carol Caskey of Arizona and Ann Arnold of Colorado; two sisters, Ruth Roberts and Mildred Whitt, both of Colorado; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
