Nov. hearing set for proposed uranium mill in Montrose County

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment will provide an evidentiary hearing and opportunity for public comment on Energy Fuels Resources Corporation's application for a radioactive materials license for the proposed Pinon Ridge Uranium Mill, located in western Montrose County.

The hearing is scheduled for Nov. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 635, 1045 Main St. in Nucla, in the Paradox Valley.

The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments and evidence on Energy Fuels' application and the Environmental Impact Assessment, which is part of the decision document.
