Pathway to Fishing

9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 • Lion's Pond (Rifle Visitors Center, 500 Lions Park Circle) • Register at the Rifle Recreation office, 202 Railroad Ave.

Kids from 6 -12 years of age will learn the basics of knot tying, casting, fish ecology and other interesting facts. All participants will receive a free tackle box, tackle and casting pole. Sponsored by the Rifle Recreation Department, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Rifle Falls Fish Hatchery, Colorado Sportsmen Wildlife Fund, Colorado State Parks and Bureau of Land Management.
