Sirens of the '60s performance in Grand Junction

Sing along to the hits of a bygone era when the Sirens of the '60s come to Grand Junction Sept. 23 for a concert.Since 1944, the Mesa County Concert Association has been bringing famous acts to the area for a bargain price. Sunday's concert features a trio of paisley-clad, go-go boot-wearing ladies who belt out 30+ memorable songs in two hours. Expect to hear gems such as Petula Clark's "Downtown," Tammy Wynette's "Stand By Your Man" and Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'."Folks interested in becoming members of the MCCA can buy into a season package of varied entertainment for only $50. Nonmembers pay $25 per show.
