Found property: Deputies took possession of found property from Parachute police officers on Sept. 14 at 3:37 a.m.
Attempted trespass: Deputies learned of a possible attempted trespass of a residence on Mineral Springs Circle outside Parachute on Sept. 14 at 11:01 a.m. The incident remains under investigation.
Domestic disturbance: Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Tamarisk Trail in Battlement Mesa on Sept. 14 at 12:42 a.m. Kyle Cooper, 22, was arrested on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal mischief and domestic violence. He was taken to jail. Sydney Rae Wardlaw, 20, was issued a summons for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.
Domestic violence: A deputy responded to a domestic violence call on Sept. 15 at 10:21 a.m. in the 1500 block of White River Avenue and arrested Jon Carlton Isham, 64, of Rifle, on suspicion of third degree assault and domestic violence. He was taken to jail.
Domestic disturbance: On Sept. 16 at 2:41 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Bent Creek Circle outside Parachute. After investigation, Randall B. Wilhelm, 44, of Parachute, was arrested on suspicion of violation of a restraining order , possession of drug paraphernalia, and child abuse. He was taken to jail.
Traffic arrests: Deputies made a traffic stop in Battlement Mesa on Sept. 16 at 8:39 p.m. and issued a summons to the driver, Matthew Roy Holton, 30, for allegedly having fake license plates. A passenger, Athena Sunshine Godwin, 33, of Parachute, was arrested on a municipal warrant from Rifle police.
DUI: Deputies arrested Chris Tina Snyder, 47, of Rifle, for DUI after responding for a call for service on Sept. 17 at 12:10 p.m. on County Road 346.
Theft: On Sept. 18 at 10:41 a.m., deputies responded to a call of theft outside Silt. At this time, the case has been closed pending leads or suspects.
Warrant arrest: On Sept. 20 at 5:32 p.m., deputies arrested Jeremy E. Gonzales, 20, of Rifle, on an arrest warrant for escape from the Garfield County Community Corrections program. He was taken to jail.
Criminal mischief: On Sept. 21 at 8 a.m., deputies learned that someone caused approximately $1,000 worth of damage to some construction equipment at the I-70 Parachute west interchange project at mile marker 72 on eastbound U.S. Highway 6. No suspects have been identified.
Assault: Deputies responded to a fight in progress at 73 Sipprelle Drive on Sept. 22 at 10:44 p.m. After investigation, Richard James Conklin, 49, of Parachute, was arrested on suspicion of harassment, disorderly conduct and third degree assault. He was taken to jail.
Youth arrested: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on River Frontage Road outside Silt on Sept. 23 at 3:30 a.m. and arrested Michael Dylan Payne, 15, of New Castle, on suspicion of violation of a restraining order, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while his license was suspended, possession of a controlled substance and having expired license plates. His identity was released due to some of his charges falling in the felony range if he were an adult and involving a weapon.
Domestic arrest: Deputies took a report of a domestic dispute on 259 Black Hawk Trail in Battlement Mesa on Sept. 23 at 5:40 p.m. and arrested Marlon Ivan Espinoza Lanza, 24, of Parachute, on suspicion of domestic violence, violation of a restraining order, false imprisonment and menacing. He was taken to jail.
Fraud: On Sept. 24 at 1:18 p.m., a deputy was contacted about a possible fraud/forgery on County Road 333 in the Silt area. This incident is closed.
