Warrant arrest: Officers contacted James Zachariah Jones, 21, of Carbondale, in the 100 block of West Centennial Parkway on Sept. 20 at 9:18 a.m. Jones was arrested on two outstanding warrants and taken to jail.Theft: On Sept. 20 at 9:32 a.m., police received a report of a motor vehicle theft that occurred in the 2400 block of Pioneer Way. A four-wheeler was stolen from a yard. Warrant arrest: On Sept. 20 at 11:05 a.m., police were informed of a man at 200 E. 18th St. who had active arrest warrants. Randall Barret Wilhelm, 44, of Rifle, was arrested and taken to jail.Curfew violation: Police contacted a 15-year-old girl in the 300 block of East 30th Street past curfew on Sept. 20 at 10:21 p.m. She was issued a citation and released to her mother. Alcohol & minors: Police responded to the 400 block of Lind Avenue on Sept. 21 at 1:06 a.m. for a report of juveniles possibly breaking into houses and cars. Officers contacted a 17-year-old juvenile boy and Thomas Jared Mayes, 22, of Rifle, and determined Mayes allegedly provided alcoholic beverages to the minor. Mayes was arrested and later released with a summons. The juvenile was cited for a curfew violation and minor in possession of alcohol.Theft: Officers took a report of fraud in the 100 block of West Fourth Street on Sept. 21 at 3:10 p.m. The case is under investigation.Warrant arrest: On Sept. 21 at 9:33 p.m., officers learned Ruby Ann Castillo, 26, of Rifle, had a municipal warrant for her arrest. Castillo was arrested and taken to jail. Warrant arrest: On Sept. 21 at 11:46 p.m., officers learned of a municipal warrant for Richard Myrle Benson Jr., 56, of Rifle. Benson was arrested in the 900 block of East Seventh Street and later released on bond. Burglary: Officers responded to a trespass report in the 100 block of West Third Street on Sept. 22 at 9:58 a.m. and found someone had tried to enter the building when it was locked. The case is under investigation. Traffic offense: Officers made a traffic stop on County Road 320 outside Rifle on Sept. 22 at 3:25 p.m. and issued summonses for driving a vehicle without a valid drivers license and possession of drug paraphernalia to Ashley Parker, 18, of Rifle. Child abuse: On Sept. 22 at 6:05 p.m., police were contacted by Valley View Hospital staff about a possible child abuse incident in the 300 block of River View Drive. The case is under investigation. Warrant arrest: Police contacted Patrick Wayne Liptrap, 29, of Canon City, as he slept in a vehicle in the 100 block of West Third Street on Sept. 23 at 1:54 a.m. and learned he had an arrest warrant. He was taken to jail.Theft: On Sept. 23 at 8:21 p.m., police responded to a report of theft in which electronics were taken from a residence in the 800 block of South White River Avenue. The case is under investigation.Criminal mischief: On Sept. 24 at 1:15 p.m., officers received a report of criminal mischief in the 200 block of East Avenue. The case is under investigation. Criminal mischief: On Sept. 24 at 4:44 p.m., officers received a report of a house that had been egged in the 300 block of Evergreen Avenue. Two juvenile girls, ages 15 and 17, from Rifle, were charged with criminal mischief. Warrant arrest: Police learned that Kelly Ann Craig, 19, of Rifle, had a municipal arrest warrant. On Sept. 24 at 9:20 p.m., she was contacted in the 600 block of West 24th Street, arrested on the warrant and released after she posted bond.Drug arrests: Deputies made a traffic stop at mile marker 85 on I-70 outside Parachute on Sept. 25 at 12:20 a.m. After investigation, deputies arrested Ashley Shirin Kolarek, 22, of Fort Collins, and Alexander L. Wolf, 42, also of Fort Collins, on suspicion of several felony narcotics violations, including the possession of cocaine and marijuana. They were both taken to jail.Warrant arrest: Deputies contacted Kimberly Ellen Krelovich, 43, of Rifle, on County Road 333 outside Rifle on Sept. 25 at 2:33 p.m. and arrested her on a warrant. She was taken to jail.Theft: A juvenile boy was contacted as he attempted to exit City Market without paying for items on Sept. 26 at 5:46 p.m. The 14-year-old from Rifle was arrested on suspicion of theft and released to his parent with a summons.Criminal mischief: On Sept. 27 at 11:53 a.m., deputies received a report of criminal mischief on West Bonanza Place in Battlement Mesa and found someone vandalized the exterior of a residence, causing approximately $800 in damage. No suspects at this time.Warrant arrest: Deputies contacted a man outside Rifle on Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. and found Jerry Dean Mills, 50, of Rifle, had an active arrest warrant. He was taken to jail.
