Criminal mischief: Police responded to the 1400 block of East Seventh Street on Oct. 29 at 1:38 a.m. for a report of a known individual who allegedly damaged items in a residence. The case is under investigation. Burglary: On Oct. 29 at 6:14 p.m., police learned of a burglary in the 500 block of East 11th Street. Vandalism: A deputy responded to a call of vandalism on Willow Creek Trail in Battlement Mesa on Oct. 30 at 5:44 p.m. Damage was done to the garage door of the house. There are currently no suspects.Warrant arrest: Deputies arrested Jeree Jean Sinclair, 43, of Rifle, on an active warrant at the Garfield County Community Corrections facility, 231 County Road 333, outside Rifle, on Oct. 30 at 4:04 p.m. She was taken to jail.Disorderly conduct: Deputies responded to a call to assist Silt Police on Oct. 30 at 8:39 p.m. in the 100 block of North Fourth Street. During the call, Juan Carlos Juarez Moreno, 38, of Silt, became unruly and was arrested on suspicion of obstruction of a peace officer and disorderly conduct.Burglary: On Oct. 31 at 4:50 p.m., a deputy responded to a report of a burglary outside Silt. The loss is estimated at over $50,000 and the case remains under investigation.Warrant arrest: On Oct. 31 at 9:51 p.m., deputies contacted Jacquelyn Louise Powers, 19, of Parachute, on Little Echo Drive. She had an active warrant, so was arrested and taken to jail.Sexual assault: On Nov. 1 at 7:23 p.m., deputies took a report of a possible sexual assault outside Parachute. The case is under investigation.Vandalism: On Nov. 1 at 8:45 a.m., deputies took a report of vehicle vandalism on Silver Queen Circle in Battlement Mesa. Damage was estimated at $300, and the case is under investigation.Cattle shot: On Nov. 1 at 10:40 a.m., animal control received a complaint of some cattle that had been shot near the Mesa and Garfield County line on Bureau of Land Management land. The case is under investigation.Sexual assault: On Nov. 1 at 7:23 p.m., deputies took a report of a possible sexual assault believed to have occurred outside Parachute. This case remains under investigation.Vandalism: Deputies responded to a report of a vandalism on Silver Queen Circle in Battlement Mesa on Nov. 1 at 8:45 a.m. Approximately $300 damage was done to a motor vehicle. The case is closed pending further information.Alcohol possession: Deputies contacted Joshua Ramirez, 18, of New Castle, on County Road 315 outside Rifle on Nov. 3 at 7:29 a.m. He was issued a summons for minor in possession of alcohol.Apartment fire: Deputies responded to help with traffic and crowd control during a structure fire at 854 West Battlement Parkway, building D, in Battlement Mesa on Nov. 4 at 12:10 a.m. The fire damaged two apartment units and roof, and heavy water damage resulted to four other units. No injuries occurred and the fire, and was being investigated as a possible arson.Dog bite: Deputies responded to a reported dog bite call on County Road 335 in the New Castle area on Nov. 4 at 12:25 a.m. A female black lab was quarantined and the dog's owner, Ricci Allen Lasco, 27, of New Castle, was issued a summons for harboring a dangerous dog and dog at large.Stolen firearm: On Nov. 5 at 12:43 a.m., deputies took a report of a stolen firearm on West Battlement Parkway in Battlement Mesa. The case is closed pending further information.Stolen equipment: Deputies took a report of a piece of construction equipment that was stolen from the area of the new West Parachute I-70 interchange project on Nov. 5 at 5:50 p.m.
